This week’s Words to Live By are those that should be remembered all the time…but especially tomorrow as you sit down for Thanksgiving dinner. If you’re trying to lose weight and have been eating right and working out, don’t throw it all away tomorrow by totally overeating! I am NOT saying not to indulge tomorrow – you should definitely grub because it’s a special day that’s all about gratitude, good food, family and friends. However, there is really no need to eat all day long and stuff yourself with unhealthy food until you can’t move. Why not get in a workout in the morning and eat your delicious Thanksgiving dinner in a normal portion until your satisfied That’s my plan, and with the help of Skinny Fiber, I’m gonna do just fine this year. Happy Thanksgiving!
I used to be the girl who decided to make about ten different changes at one time. I’d wake up one day and decide that I needed to lose a few pounds, so I was gonna 1) start working out, 2) stop drinking coffee, 3) start dieting, 4) start meditating, 5) start going for walks in the park every evening, 6)… you get the idea. Trying to change too many things at once is often a recipe for failure. I always applaud the decision to make changes in your life instead of just fussing about it or wishing things were different. But setting goals and taking things one step at a time is usually the best way to go. People are creatures of habits and so it can be hard to change… but it is definitely possible, so do not give up. Just follow the advice below! 🙂
I’m starting a new series here at Thin and Strong called Words to Live By Wednesdays. I’m going to share images that have quotes or other words of wisdom that I think we all need to be reminded of from time to time. I LOVE quotes and am constantly in awe of the power that words carry. So as you continue on your journey to get thin and strong, I hope the words I share here each week inspire, motivate, and sometimes even entertain you!
I recently found this one on Tumblr and since it embodies a core Thin and Strong philosophy, I felt it would be a great way to start this series off. Please feel free to leave me a comment below and tell me what you think of this one and/or the idea of the series in general. And, if you like these Words to Live By, please share it with you friends! 🙂
