You have to stay motivated if you want to lose weight. You’re going to have to want this for yourself and no one else. Use the tips you’re about to read to help yourself stay motivated and maximize your weight loss.
Drink coffee if you desire to maintain energy during your diet. Coffee is one of the most popular beverages, however it is not widely known that it also can provide a great boost to your fitness goals. Coffee energizes you and can even kick start your metabolism.
Choosing not to eat red meat is a good dieting step to take. Red meat is loaded with fats and unhealthy cholesterol. Rather than consume red meat, substitute this with leaner items like fish and poultry.
1 – Set Smart Goals
Clear, measurable, time-bound goals are where it all starts. You should start with your ultimate goal, which is usually your goal weight or dress size, but could be something else of meaning to you. Then work your way backwards with a few steps you’d need to reach to get there. Set a time frame and go for it! If you keep your eyes on the prize at all times, it will help keep your motivation up.
2 – Make a Plan
Create a plan for every step. You need to schedule the days and times you’ll workout, make out your grocery list before you go to the store each week, and make a meal plan for the week.
3 – Set Reminders
Don’t allow yourself to forget or get side tracked when life gets in the way. Use post it notes to remind you of your goals and put them around your bedroom and bathroom. Write down why you want to lose weight and get healthy, and re-read it when you find your resolve is wavering. Use your cell phone to set reminders when you’ve scheduled your work out, to drink more water, and to take your Skinny Fiber 30 minutes before your two largest meals (Siri is great for this, if you’ve got an iPhone).
Tip #1 – Start today and commit
Don’t put it off anymore because you can do anything you set your mind to. And if you’re one of the many people who have already slipped when it comes to your New Years resolutions, don’t beat yourself up – just recommit to your goals today. You can do this!
Tip #2 – Eat healthy
Skipping meals and starving yourself does NOT work! It slows your metabolism and causes your body to store fat. Instead, make healthy food choices that include lean proteins, fruits and veggies, and healthy fats.
It’s Wednesday and therefore time for a few words to live by as you finalize your 2013 goals and keep yourself motivated to achieve them. I am a HUGE proponent for the power of choice. I’m NOT getting into politics here – I’m talking everyday life. Let me explain… When you wake up in the morning, you have the choice to start the day tired and sour as you head off to work. Or you can choose to thank God for another day and focus on the many blessings in your life. When someone does you wrong, you can choose to react badly and fire back in negativity or revenge. Or you can step back, stay in control and in peace, and choose to respond in a manner that is appropriate, respectful, and won’t be regretted later. And when it comes to your health, your fitness, and your eating habits… you can choose whether you take that walk today, whether you eat chicken & veggies for lunch (instead of that burger and fries), and if you’re going to commit to taking your Skinny Fiber twice a day before meals. You CAN do all of it… you simply have to start by choosing to.
